Coated Cages Versus PVC Coated Cages:
PVC coating on cages can easliy be chewed off by sugar gliders that are chewers.
Thus exposing the wires under the coating allowing rust to set in and a danger of the rust being licked by the sugar gliders.
Sugar glider waste sticks to PVC coatings,leaving an unsightlty calcium buildup from urine thus creating a problem of not being able to thoroughly clean the cage.
That is why we prefer not to offer PVC cages.
The Texture Coated Cages does not allow chewing of any type to cause damage to the cage.
The surface is also cleaned easily by not allowing and food or waste to be able to stick to the surface.
