Sugar Glider Diet Information

Feeding your glider right will help your glider to have a long and healthy life!

The main rule with sugar gliders is to feed them 1/4 to 1.2 cup of fresh fruit or veggies and 1 tablespoon of protein based foods each night.

If they do not seem to like something one night, they will eat it on another night. So always offer a variety for your gliders even if they do not eat it the first night.

Keep a Staple Food in their cage and available at all times along with an ample supply of fresh water as some will get up during the day to have a little snack.

Every night add the Leadbeaters Recipe as it has everything they need if they eat nothing but this mix.
Every other night offer a calcium based food such as a small serving of yogurt (blueberry, mixed fruit, strawberry, peach or cherry) as this is important for healthy bones.
